Industrial Scientific
a global safety company providing industry-leading technologies for gas detection, hazard monitoring, and real-time air quality insights, is proud to announce that both the Radius® BZ1 with Gamma Radiation and iNet® Insights have been honored with top accolades in the Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) New Product of the Year Awards.

These awards highlight Industrial Scientific’s commitment to giving safety-focused teams visibility into hazards and changing conditions, while ensuring they have the information needed to make faster and smarter decisions.

The Radius BZ1 with Gamma Radiation was recognized in two categories: Emergency Response & Preparedness and Fire Safety. iNet Insights was recognized in the Facility Safety category.

Introduced earlier this year, gamma radiation detection expands the capabilities of the Radius BZ1 by bringing gas and radiation monitoring together in a single area monitor. Designed for fire departments and hazmat teams managing complex incidents and large public events, the technology provides continuous monitoring across a defined area and alerts teams when radiation levels rise above normal background levels.

While Radius BZ1 with Gamma Radiation expands what safety teams can detect in the field, iNet Insights transforms how organizations use safety information across their operations.

Launched in June, iNet Insights combines connected gas detection, fleet management, instant reporting, real-time visibility, and actionable analytics into one platform designed around the way safety professionals work. Intuitive dashboards, enterprise-level reporting, worker-centric exposure data, and actionable analytics help teams identify trends earlier, simplify everyday safety workflows, and make more informed decisions.

“These awards recognize two important aspects of worker safety: understanding what hazards exist and having the insight to act on them,” says Nick Pflugh, vice president, commercial, Industrial Scientific. “Whether we’re helping fire and hazmat teams maintain visibility during a complex incident or giving safety professionals the intelligence they need to identify trends and respond faster, our focus is on developing technology that makes safety more actionable. We’re honored to be recognized for innovations that help organizations protect their people and their community

The recognition reflects Industrial Scientific’s continued investment in technologies that help safety teams move from simply detecting hazards to understanding and responding to risk with greater speed, visibility, and confidence.
