'Twas the Night Before Christmas, When all Through the Plant...

‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the plant
All the creatures were stirring, even the ants
The Ventis Pros docked in their stations with care
In hopes that their users soon would be there

The workers tending to their duties and lines
While holiday visions danced through their minds
My boss in her hard hat and we in our boots
Were called to check a gas leak up on the roof

I put down the gingerbread man I was eatin’
And our instruments rang as we walked past the beacon
We arrived on the scene at the staircase’s end
And networked our instruments by way of LENS

We split up the group and we started our work
And slowly approached where the bad gases lurk
I paused for a moment to think of the way
My family would react to their gifts the next day

When from my detector arose an alert
It read “Peer Alarm!” and I could not avert
Away to my co-worker’s location I flew
Knowing he may have been short on O2

The moon on the crest of my snow-covered path
Gave the luster of spring to the cold winter’s wrath
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear
But the EMS team and their life-saving gear

I said “how did you know that this incident occurred”
And a big booming voice said “Haven’t you heard?
I got an alert as he got his alarm,
And I called EMS to save him from harm.”

I turned around swiftly to see who had spoke
And to my surprise, there stood the red-suited bloke
Holding his cell phone with a smile on his face
He showed me the alert that made his heart race

If not for the solution we had here on hand
My co-worker’s time may have come to an end
But seeing as we’re safe and everyone is all right
We can say Happy Holidays to all, and to all a good night!
