The Confined Space Metering Class is designed to educate and familiarize attendees with the dangers of confined spaces as well as how to comply with Federal regulations.  This course will review the gas hazards faced by today’s workers who deal with confined spaces while reviewing CFR 1910.146 and its many nuances.  Also reviewed are instrumentation solutions used to identify these hazards as well as how to eradicate them.  From there we utilize a confined space simulator to familiarize the student with “real world” situations.  Every student will receive time in the simulator to put their training to the test.  At the conclusion, the exercises will be reviewed and corrective action noted.  The Confined Space metering Course is ideal for everyone that has to work in or manage the work in confined spaces.  Upon completion of this course, the student will have the tools necessary to safely deal with and work in potentially gaseous confined spaces.
