• Face to Face Training Class Portable Instrument Operations Level Training

The Portable Instrument Operations Level Training class is specifically designed to educate and empower the gas monitor end user on all issues related to gas monitoring. Initially, we explore the gas hazards in confined spaces and how these conditions manifest themselves in the workplace. From there we examine terms and technology to ensure a good fit with the application. Next, we explore Industrial Scientific's current line of gas monitoring instruments receiving instruction on operation techniques that are sure to save your company money. Finally the course shifts to Docking Stations™, automated solutions for bump testing, calibration, data downloading, diagnostics, and recordkeeping. This course is a must for all people responsible for the operation of portable gas monitoring instruments. This class is also and excellent prerequisite for those wishing to enroll in the Portable Instrument Technician Level Training Class. Additionally, this is a competency certification course so the student will leave the class with a certificate.

Was a great class, maybe the best I've taken. Completely hands on and it's the best way to learn. I'd recommend it for anyone in charge of gas detectors.
James Moore, Ideal Gases, Southgate, MI
I found the course content both interesting and relevant to the needs of my company. The facilities are good ad the training materials excellent. Your Instructor is an energetic and engaging presenter. He obviously believe whole heartedly in the product and the value of his training. He made the course a lot of fun.
Phillip Groves, Syncrude Canada, Ltd., Fort McMurray, AB
Excellent course, I learned several things that we could be doing differently and will implement ASAP. Very well done.
Peter B. Surette, FMC Biopolymer, Rockland, ME
The Instructor encouraged class participation. Breaks were at good times and the class had lots of life. There were lots of little extras and rules that made the class affable and easy going.
