President and Chief Executive Officer
Justin McElhattan became President and Chief Executive Officer of Industrial Scientific and its subsidiaries in 2010. In this role, he is responsible for leading the company strategically toward achieving its mission of preserving human life on, above and below the earth. Throughout day-to-day operations at Industrial Scientific, Justin is committed to serving employees as they drive toward achieving the company's vision of eliminating death in the workplace by the end of this century.
Justin's career at Industrial Scientific began in 1998 as Manager of Commercial Systems. Since then, he has held various positions within the company, including Field Sales Manager, North America; Vice President, Operations; and President & Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to working at Industrial Scientific, Justin served as a Water/Wastewater Sales & Support Specialist for Sheridan Safety (Dayton, Ohio) and as Field Sales Representative for SAFECO with a territory in Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Justin earned his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Resource Management from The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pa. He also holds an MBA from the Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University
Chairman and Co-Founder
Kent McElhattan held various positions in operations, sales, product management and customer service during 15 years at the Mining Machinery Division of National Mine Service Company in Ashland, Ky. His commitment to "employees first" was born from firsthand experience in an environment of mistrust. He resolved to form a corporation that was not only physically safe but psychologically safe enough to liberate the creative voices of all employees, regardless of position. That would require placing employees above customers and shareholders.
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance
Todd Lindemuth has held many positions over his more than 20 year tenure at Industrial Scientific, including Accounting Manager and Controller. Today, as the Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance, he oversees the company's financial position.
Chief Information Officer
David DiLeo is responsible for the technology offerings and operation of Industrial Scientific, including IT infrastructure, enterprise resource planning (ERP), business applications, application development, and software quality assurance (SQA). David joined Industrial Scientific in 2013 as the Global Director, Information Technology, and was promoted to Chief Information Officer in September 2015.
Previously, David was the VP & Director of Quality Assurance, Strategic Information & Risk Technology, at PNC Financial Services Group. He also served as the IT Group Manager, Integrated Service Solutions at Pratt & Whitney, a division of United Technologies Corp., where he was responsible for managing the development and operations of Pratt & Whitney's real-time advanced diagnostic engine monitoring solution.
He earned his MBA from the University of Hartford and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central Connecticut State University. He also holds Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute, and a certification in quality and process improvement (ACE Associate) from United Technologies Corp. He is a lifetime member of Beta Gamma Sigma, International Honor Society.
General Manager, EMEA
Cedric leads the Industrial Scientific team with territories in Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). He also takes part in several company-wide initiatives that are key to the continued growth of Industrial Scientific globally.
Vice President, Asia Pacific Operations
Jiao is responsible for leading Industrial Scientific’s operations in China. This includes assembly and sensor manufacturing, supply chain management, quality control / assurance, new product introduction, and more. Jiao joined Industrial Scientific in 2011.
Vice President, Sales & Services , Asia Pacific
Nick is responsible for sales, services & marketing in China , Asia , Australia and New Zealand. His main objective is to accelerate the growth of Industrial Scientific products in this fast growing region.
He has more than 20 years' experience in driving the growth of companies globally. Prior to joining the company in 2010, Nick served as the Regional Sales Director at General Electric. He was also previously the Sales & Marketing Director at Halma - the world's largest manufacturer of elevator / lift door safety sensors. He also worked at Honeywell as the Asia Pacific Market Manager. In each role, Nick was formally recognized for his performance.
Nick earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull in the United Kingdom, a Bachelor of Business Administration from La Trobe University in Australia and a diploma in Electronics from Singapore Polytechnic. Nick is also graduate of Asia International Executive Program from Insead.
Vice President, Customer Operations
Garth has overall responsibility for Industrial Scientific's internal customer-facing teams, including customer service, inside sales, training, field service, depot repair, rental, iNet® contract administration and legal.
Garth began his career with the National Mine Service Company, which later became Industrial Scientific Corporation. Over the years, he has held several positions, including Mechanical Engineer, Applications Engineer, Manager of Engineering, Manager of Manufacturing, Vice President of Sales and Services, as well as Vice President of Business Development.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pa.

Jim Quasey is responsible for production, manufacturing engineering, supply chain and quality functions within the Oakdale, Pa., and Shanghai operations.

Robb Gilmore is responsible for iNet, SafetyNet, internal application development, and the software quality assurance (SQA) team. He joined Industrial Scientific in 2003 as Chief Software Engineer, and in 2009 took on the role of Global Director, Enterprise Software Development. In 2015, Robb was promoted to Senior Global Director, Software Products.
Prior to joining Industrial Scientific, Robb held many positions at Descartes Systems Group, which was formerly known as DXI, Inc. and E-transport, Inc. In 2002, he was a Senior Software Developer at Quest Software before serving as a Senior Software Developer at FreeMarkets, Inc., present-day Ariba, Inc., through 2003.

Global Director, Supply Chain
As the Global Director of Supply Chain, Kavita is responsible for developing and executing strategies to ensure timely supply of highest quality and competitively priced components. This includes creating a culture and developing competencies in our suppliers globally to deliver sustainable results that create value for ISC customers in terms of superior quality, on-time delivery, inventory improvement and total cost management. She joined Industrial Scientific in 2004 as a SQA Engineer, and was promoted to SQA team leader, then a software engineering manager, before becoming the Director of Quality and Reliability.
Before coming to Industrial Scientific, Kavita worked as a Software Developer at CBSI in India, and as a Senior Software Consultant and Team Leader for Professional Access in New York.
She earned her Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications at the PSG College of Technology in India, and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Pittsburgh.
Kavita served on the Executive Board for the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Society of Quality.
She was nominated by Merrill Lynch to receive an award in recognition of exceptional work as a Quality Team Leader.

Director, Quality and Reliability
Jason Guzek is responsible for development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Industrial Scientific's global quality systems, accreditations, programs, processes, and tools.
Jason joined Industrial Scientific in 2012 and served as a Product Assurance Manager for 3 years before becoming the Director of Quality and Reliability. He is a Six Sigma Black Belt and a member of the American Society of Quality (ASQ).
Earlier in his career, Jason held engineering management positions with Bombardier Transportation and General Dynamics. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester.
General Counsel of Industrial Scientific Corporation
Amanda Beamon oversees the legal team at Industrial Scientific and provides legal counseling to affiliates and subsidiaries globally, including advice on contracts, disputes, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, intellectual property, and export compliance.
Amanda joined the company in 2015 after spending 13 years at the H. J. Heinz Company. Amanda's most recent role was Corporate Secretary and Deputy General Counsel. She also served as Associate Corporate Counsel for Federated Investors, Inc. from 1998-2001. Amanda received her law degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and University of Otago, New Zealand. Currently she is an active board member of Life's Work of Western Pennsylvania, Venture Outdoors, and the University of Pittsburgh Center for International Legal Education. Amanda is a member of the bar of Pennsylvania, New York, and the High Court of New Zealand.
General Manager, Predictive Solutions Corporation
Kent Szalla is responsible for all business aspects of Predictive Solutions Corporation-a fully owned subsidiary of Industrial Scientific Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for leading the company strategically toward achieving its mission to help companies predict and prevent workplace incidents.
Kent worked for Predictive Solutions for 2 years prior to being moved into the General Manager position. In those 2 years, Kent managed the customer care, implementation, software development, and quality assurance teams. Before joining Predictive Solutions in 2014, Kent was General Manager of a startup logistics company called PITT OHIO GROUND. He was also an IT Director at PITT OHIO EXPRESS and held various positions in technology-related consulting companies throughout the 1990s.
Kent earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a Bachelor of Arts from The Pennsylvania State University. He also earned an Executive MBA in International Business from The University of Pittsburgh.
