Note:
1. For CO, OSHA PEL is 50 ppm, Industrial Scientific uses the standard set in 1989 (35 PPM). ACGIH limit is 25 PPM, 1995. 2. NIOSH ceiling is 200 PPM The TMX412/410 can only use gases designated with an asterisk (*). The LTX310 does not have hygiene capabilities. All alarm set points are field adjustable over the full range of the sensor.(Exceptions: LEL/CH 4 - 0 to 60% and 0 to 3.0% by vol. CH 4.) Provided standards exist all alarm settings are based on the following: Low alarms are based on OSHA PEL and/or NIOSH values. High alarms are based on 2 times OSHA PEL values. TWA and STEL alarms are based on ACGIH TWA and STEL values. Low hygiene alarms are based on the ACGIH STEL of the gas. High hygiene alarms are based on a value .5 x the NIOSH 1990 IDLH of the gas. |
